Singapore: New API for transmitting GST Returns

You can now transmit GST returns and listings directly to IRAS using accounting / Tax Software. IRAS is continuing to improve its services towards taxpayers and now GST returns and transaction listings can be also submitted directly from their accounting/tax software via API interface.

This eliminates the need for users to log into myTax Portal to input their tax figures manually, in turn reducing transposition errors and improving the accuracy of the returns submitted to IRAS.

The new APIs will also cater for changes in the respective returns to account for GST on imported services. In the IRAS website you can also find a list of supported tax software that supports the new API connection.
