Postponement of VAT returns due to a malfunction at the tax authorities

Entrepreneurs receive a postponement of their VAT return until August 8. Normally, the deadline for the quarterly declaration is July 31, but due to a failure, many people failed to file the declaration on Friday.

Technical problems

The Tax and Customs Administration itself reported on Friday that technical problems are occurring at Mijn Belastingdienst and Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk. As a result, it was temporarily impossible to log in, not even on the old portal for entrepreneurs.

Procrastination

De Telegraaf reports on Friday at the end of the afternoon that a postponement has therefore now been granted until 8 August. Entrepreneurs who had run into problems as a result of the malfunction get air of it. The problems now seem to have been resolved.
