Lithuania: Government Introduces reduced VAT on Food Products
The Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas) adopted Bill No. XIVP-1307, which applies a preferential VAT rate of 0% to foodstuffs. The aim is to reduce the prices of food products.
The legislation would go into effect on August 1.
