Cyprus: Government announces VAT Exemption on petroleum goods and fuel costs until the end of 2022
Cypriot News Agency reported the adoption of two legislations relating to the VAT and excise duty on petroleum goods, as well as the adjustment of fuel costs included into the final power bills of the Cyprus Electricity Authority.
The following changes have been approved:
- Exemption of petroleum products from VAT and excise taxes until the end of 2022
- The introduction of a zero-rated VAT on the modification of fuel costs included in the final electricity bill of the Cyprus Electricity Authority until the end of 2022.
