Marketing Content positions for Graduates of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing, or Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication.

GVC is based in The Netherlands and The Philippines. Our office in The Netherlands is responsible for sales and marketing, tax technology solutions, tax advisory, audit support, and client relationship management. Our office in The Philippines is the global delivery center of GVC supporting our clients with VAT compliance services. Within GVC, our Philippines office provides support services as well for:

Our clients

Our clients are multinational companies, e-commerce retailers, and digital services providers. E-commerce (selling products online) and digital services (selling services online) are fast growing. Many retailers offer the option to buy online. Digital services are offered online, like gaming, streaming, and social media. The market is changing rapidly fueled by the growth of e-commerce and digital services.

Marketing

Within GVC, the Marketing & Communications team delivers marketing strategies and communications plans to support content growth and lead generation.The Marketing Team executes marketing campaigns including the social media and e-mail campaigns; performs SEO, creates and coordinate content across the on-line channels, organizes on-line events and collaborates closely with the sales team to define and implement plans; taking into account GVC’s overall marketing strategy.

What can you expect?

You will start with a basic introduction for one month. After completion of the introduction, you will be assigned to our Support Teams. After four to six months, you will be regularized as Marketing Staff. During your career, the training will continue to address new developments and to prepare you for the next step. You will have frequent interaction with our team in the Netherlands. We expect from you that you will take responsibility for your assigned tasks with the support of experienced staff (“buddy”) and your team lead.

Your entry position depends on relevant experience with the possibility to grow. . Your growth depends on performance. You may develop your skills in the technical area or take on a leadership role.

We do employ about 50 tax compliance specialists and support in Davao and about 50 staff in the Netherlands. Our office is located in Unit 301A, 3rd Floor, Topaz Tower, Damosa I.T. Park, Lanang, Davao City.

Global VAT Compliance is the joined trade name of Global VAT Compliance B.V. registered in the Netherlands and Hartman Business Solutions Inc. registered in the Philippines

Qualifications

Graduates of:

• BS in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management; or
• AB in Mass Communication or any relevant field

• With at least three to five year of working experience in the field of business, marketing, or communications.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal.
• A background incopywriting or content marketing is an advantage
• Experience in computer software and online applications (WordPress, Online analytics, Google AdWords, etc.) used in marketing is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media
• Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to a fast-growing company
• Strong attention to detail, aesthetics, and design
• Able to work under pressure and handle short notice tasks
• Can work independently with high efficiency without much supervision.
• Self-starter who brings both interpersonal skills and creative problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Write, review, edit and publish content on the company’s website.
• Deliver high quality content (e.g., daily news, articles, basic graphic design) and other works to keep up with the market standards.
• Research on current trends in the industry.
• Cooperate with the Marketing Team in The Hague, The Netherlands daily.
