Ukraine: VAT Exemption on the sale of software products until 2028
The Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) may prolong the VAT exemption on the delivery of software goods from January 1, 2023, until January 1, 2028, in accordance with Bill No. 7611. The country’s achievements in European and global leadership in the IT sector are the primary goal of the proposed law.
The proposed law would extend for an added five years the taxation provisions relating to the tax on the added value of software products for IT companies to increase state support for the level of competitiveness and attractiveness of the national information technology industry for both domestic and foreign consumers.
