South Africa: Updated Guide on Tax Rates, Duties, and Levies

On August 29, the South African Revenue Service released an updated guide covering various tax rates, duties, and levies. The guide includes information on: 

 

Tax Rates on corporate income tax, individual income tax, capital gains tax (CGT), VAT, securities transfer tax (STT), and the environmental levy on carbon emissions. 
Corporate Income Tax Calculation: Procedures for corporations, including small businesses, micro-businesses, long-term and short-term insurers, as well as mining, oil, and gas companies. 

Withholding Rates: Information on rates for royalties and interest. 

Contribution Rates: Details on unemployment insurance fund (UIF) contributions. 

 

This guide provides updated information for compliance with South African tax regulations.
