Kenya has officially repealed the Digital Services Tax (DST) effective December 27, 2024. This decision comes as the country prepares to implement a new tax framework, the Significant Economic Presence (SEP) tax, which is still under discussion with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
System enhancements: Upgrades are underway to incorporate SEP tax functionality into the iTax portal. Authorities will provide updates as the new system becomes operational.
