Ghana’s new VAT Regulations for textile manufacturers

On 31st December 2021, Ghanaian Gazette published the revisions in the VAT Act that extends the zero-rated VAT on African textile prints for local textile manufacturers until 31 December 2023. The manufacturer should be approved by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The amendment also includes provisions to limit the application for flat rate scheme. The annual revenue of retailers must be between 200,000 GHC  to 500,000 GHC.
